Project and Research Experience

  • Facial Recognition: Used Mathematica to create a program that trains an algorithm to recognize a directory of faces into a series of eigenvectors and using these eigenvectors to classify new faces from the previous sample. This was done by making a composite face and transferring it into a covariance matrix to compare sample faces to. The eigenvales of the covariance matrix were compared to the eigenvalues of the sample images as a means of facial recognition.
  • Gender Perception: Conduexted and gathered survey results, analyzed data using P-values, Poisson and Gaussian distributions and SPSS software.
